Privacy notice
How we take care of the data you share with us on datsool.com and in your account.
This English translation is provided for convenience. The Spanish version is the legally binding notice under Mexican law.
Who is responsible for your data
Sergio A. Castro M., operating under the trade name Datsool, based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data. Contact: contacto@datsool.com.
What data we collect
- Identification and contact: name, email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Business details: the name of your business or company and the type of business you choose (startup or small business).
- Your account: your password, which we store encrypted; no one, not even Datsool, can read it.
- If you sign in with Google: Google shares your name, your email (already confirmed by Google) and an identifier for your Google account. We don't receive your Google password or your contacts, files or emails. You can unlink Google under Mis datos (My data).
- ClienteCheck: your answers, scores and results, with their date.
- Security: the IP address and date of sign-in attempts, to block anyone trying to guess passwords.
We don't ask for sensitive personal data or financial data.
What we use it for
Purposes necessary for the service:
- Creating and managing your account and showing you your results, your history, your stage of work with Datsool, tools and recommended reading.
- Following up on your process: the Datsool team can see your results and record internal notes about your service, which are included if you download your data.
- Sending you the reports and recommendations you request.
- Replying to your messages and following up on the services you hire.
- If you ask for an introduction to a specialist from our implementation partner network, putting you in touch with that person and following up on the project.
- Protecting your account and the site.
Additional purposes, which you can refuse at any time by writing to contacto@datsool.com without affecting your service:
- Producing general statistics that don't identify you, to improve the ClienteCheck and the site.
- Sending you information about new Datsool services.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data and we don't share it with third parties for their own purposes. The site and the database are hosted by a hosting provider (Hostinger), which only stores them on Datsool's behalf. When you ask for an introduction to a specialist from the implementation partner network, we share your name, your business, your email, your phone and the message you wrote, only so they can help you; never without your request. Beyond that, we would only share data if a competent authority requires it by law.
Cookies and statistics
We only use necessary cookies when you sign in to your account: one keeps your session open and another tells the site to show you the "My account" menu. Neither stores your data, and both are deleted when you sign out. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
To know which pages are visited, we count visits anonymously and without cookies: we only store the day, the page, the site you came from and an encrypted identifier that changes every day and doesn't reveal who you are. We don't store your IP address for this.
How long we keep it
While your account is active or while it's needed for the service you hired. When you delete your account we remove your data and results from the portal, except what the law requires us to keep, for example, for invoicing.
Your rights (ARCO) and how to exercise them
You can access your data, rectify it, cancel it or object to its use, and you can also withdraw your consent.
- From your account, under Mis datos (My data), you can correct your data, download everything we store about you and delete your account instantly.
- You can also write to contacto@datsool.com with your name, your account email and your request. We reply within 20 business days at most.
Changes to this notice
